Paleo – Is It Really Restrictive?

My hubby and I went to dinner on Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary.  I had two mushroom dishes that were divine!  I never even liked mushrooms before going Paleo, which got me thinking.  There are A LOT of foods I eat now that I didn’t eat before.  Yes, I’m excluding grain, dairy, legumes, and white potatoes.  BUT, here is what I’ve ADDED (most of which I never liked previously, but do now):

  • mushrooms
  • collard greens
  • kale
  • sausage
  • pork loin
  • pork shoulder
  • brisket
  • arugula
  • coconut
  • coconut oil
  • coconut milk
  • pecans
  • almonds
  • almond flour
  • dates
  • guacamole
  • mango
  • roasted cauliflower (previously only ate cauliflower covered in cheese)
  • pumpkin seeds
  • tilapia
  • figs

There’s probably a bunch more, so I’ll update as I think of them.
